Wokingham Podcast Studio

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Wokingham Podcast Studio website and any services booked through it.
Wokingham Podcast Studio is an associated brand operated by Cheeky Monkey Videos Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). All bookings, enquiries, payments (where applicable), and service delivery are managed by Cheeky Monkey Videos Ltd.
By making a payment, submitting a booking request, or proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms outlined on this page.
Definitions
Company: Cheeky Monkey Videos Ltd, the operator of Wokingham Podcast Studio and provider of related services.
Client: The individual or entity making a booking, enquiry, or payment.
Services: Any studio booking, recording session, filming session, editing, content delivery, or other related service provided under the Wokingham Podcast Studio brand.
Associated Brand: Wokingham Podcast Studio is a trading and marketing brand associated with Cheeky Monkey Videos Ltd. References to Wokingham Podcast Studio refer to services operated and delivered by the Company.
Scope of Services
Wokingham Podcast Studio provides access to studio facilities for podcast recording, video recording, and related content creation.
Services may include, depending on the package selected:
Studio space hire for audio and/or video recording.
Access to agreed in-house equipment such as microphones, lighting, cameras, and audio interfaces.
Assistance with setup and breakdown, if included in the booking.
Production support, if included in the booking.
Optional post-production services such as audio cleanup, editing, syncing, captions, graphics, and export delivery, when purchased separately or included in a package.
Services provided will be the ones listed in your booking confirmation or invoice.
Bookings and Scheduling
Your booking is only confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation from us.
We may request additional details before confirming your booking to ensure the studio is set correctly for your session.
If you arrive late, your session may still end at the originally booked time, as other bookings may be scheduled after yours.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where a Client’s behaviour is unsafe, abusive, or disruptive, or where the booking request is clearly outside the intended use of the studio.
Payment Terms
Full payment for studio bookings is required in advance at the time of reservation unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Where payments are taken via embedded booking or checkout tools, they are processed through systems operated by Cheeky Monkey Videos Ltd.
Unless stated otherwise, all payments are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed.
Any additional services requested outside of the original booking scope may incur additional fees, which will be agreed in writing before work begins.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Rescheduling:
72 hours or more notice: You may reschedule your session at no additional charge, subject to availability.
Less than 72 hours notice: We cannot offer rescheduling for sessions cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice.
Cancellations:
If you cancel your studio booking, the full payment made for the reservation will be retained and is non-refundable, regardless of the notice period.
If we need to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances (for example, equipment failure or matters outside of our reasonable control), we will offer a reschedule option or a credit for a future booking.
Studio Rules and Client Responsibilities
You agree to follow all studio rules and safety guidelines communicated before or during the session.
You are responsible for your own conduct and the conduct of any guests you bring into the studio.
You are responsible for ensuring that all content created, performed, or recorded during your session complies with applicable laws and does not infringe third-party rights.
You must secure all necessary permissions, licences, or releases for any content used in your production (for example, music, branding, or third-party materials).
Equipment Use and Liability for Damage
The Client is responsible for using the studio space and equipment with reasonable care.
If any equipment or studio property is damaged during the session, the Client may be liable for repair or replacement costs.
We are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage caused by the Client’s misuse of equipment or failure to follow instructions.
Deliverables, Revisions, and Editing Work
If your booking includes deliverables (for example, synced audio and video files, edited content, reels, or highlights), the details will be set out in your booking confirmation or invoice.
If your package includes revisions, the allowed number of revision rounds will be stated in writing.
Any additional revisions or changes outside the agreed scope may be charged at an hourly rate (minimum 1 hour), or as otherwise agreed.
Delivery timelines may be impacted by delays outside of our control, including late Client feedback, missing assets, or third-party platform issues.
Ownership and Usage Rights
Unless stated otherwise in writing:
The Company retains ownership of studio equipment, systems, and any templates or internal workflows used to produce deliverables.
The Client owns the final delivered exports that they have paid for and may use them for marketing and promotional purposes.
The Company retains the right to use photos or short clips taken in the studio, or completed projects, for portfolio and promotional purposes unless the Client requests otherwise in writing before the session.
Raw footage and raw audio files may be retained by the Company for a limited time only in line with the File Retention Policy below.
File Retention Policy
In-House Editing:
If the Client opts for in-house editing and post-production services, the Company will store recorded files for 90 days from the recording date.
Completed projects may be delivered via download links (for example, Dropbox). Download links may be available for a limited period (typically 14 days).
Client Self-Editing:
If the Client chooses to edit the files themselves and files have been transferred to them, it is the Client’s responsibility to review the files within 72 hours of transfer.
The Client must notify the Company immediately if any files are missing or incomplete.
After this 72-hour review period, the Company may delete files and will no longer retain copies.
Marketing and Results Disclaimer
Where services include marketing-related outputs (for example, reels designed for online performance), we do not guarantee any specific results such as views, reach, enquiries, or sales.
Performance depends on factors outside of our control, including audience behaviour, platform algorithms, ad spend, and the Client’s marketing strategy.
Limitation of Liability
The Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the relevant booking or package.
Force Majeure
We will not be liable for delays or failure to deliver Services due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) extreme weather, power outages, strikes, illness, or third-party service disruptions.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in England and Wales.
Amendments
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page and will be effective from the date stated at the top.
Continued use of the website or Services will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
